We invite you to join us at an important free forum called, Protect your Own Drinking Water: Our Most Important Resource. The forum will be held on Saturday, March 22, 2014, from 9 a.m. until noon at the Pike County Training Center, located on Route 739, in Lords Valley. The forum will help promote understanding of Pocono drinking water areas, the threats we face, effective stewardship measures, and ways that local officials and homeowners can take action to prevent contamination before it’s too late. Everyone has an important role to play in protecting our vital liquid assets. To register, contact the Pike County Conservation District at 570-226-8220.
