PENNVEST Homeowner Septic System Loan Program

PENNVEST Homeowner

Septic Loan Pocket Cards

Do your residents/customers need help paying for their septic system repair or replacement?  Sometimes they let you know and sometimes they don’t.  PENNVEST Homeowner Septic program can help qualified homeowners facing repairs or replacements. The program offers  a fixed rate loan with a rate of 1.75% that gives borrowers up to 20 years to repay. It is funded by PENNVEST and administered by the PA Housing Finance Agency.

Many SEOs and septic companies provided feedback at the PASEO conferences about changes to the loan program that they would like to see incorporated into the program.  PENNVEST/PHFA  are finalizing recommendations for changes now and will be announcing new guidelines soon.

In the meantime, their new pocket cards are an easy and convenient way for you to help any homeowner without having to become involved in their household’s financial situation.  Simply leave a PENNVEST Homeowner Septic Loan pocket card with any homeowner you meet with.  It gives enough information for them to pursue this financial assistance on their own, if they choose to do so.

If you would like to have a supply of these redesigned PENNVEST Homeowner Septic program cards, that are just the right size to carry in a shirt pocket, please email PHFA at sfgeneralprograminfo@phfa.org. (In the subject line type “Brochure request” and in the body of the message type “PV Homeowner Septic Program Cards” and specify how many cards you would like.)
