Heartbleed Web Threat

In an effort to help our supporters, here is a few types related to the Heartbleed Web Threat:

What is Heartbleed – “Heart bleed is probably one of the largest security exposures, at least that I can remember in ten or fifteen years. It impacts almost all of the internet. David Kennedy, a security researcher and self described ethical hacker calls heart bleed the bug that broke the internet.   Affects websites using a software called OpenSSL.  Software is used to encrypt data that is exchanges the site will have https or a padlock sign in the web address.   Any site you may have used – which is probably most – You could be at Risk.  Any site that required a name and password – Could be an issue.

Some general recommendations:

1. Change all your passwords and log-ins.

2. Make the passwords and log-in more difficult.

    More information

It is a legitimate matter and both the U.S. Department of Homeland Security and the British National Computer Emergency Response Team have advised computer users to use alternatives to Microsoft’s Internet Explorer browser until the company fixes a security flaw that hackers used to launch attacks.

If your township has computers using Microsoft’s Internet Explorer to browse the web, immediately stop using Internet Explorer and instead begin using an alternate web browser, such as Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox.

Today, while I was at work, my cousin stole
my iphone and tested to see if it can survive a 25
foot drop, just so she can be a youtube sensation.
My iPad is now broken and she has 83 views. I know this is
entirely off topic but I had to share it with someone!
