WELL WATER TESTING AT CARBON COUNTY HIGH SCHOOLS

We invite science teachers of all high schools in Carbon County to have their students test well water for bacterial contamination.

Samples would come from the wells of students, staff members and residents. The results will be added to the database of results from previous years to provide a continuing profile of the area.

COMMUNITY BENEFITS
Students will be learning about and testing their own drinking water. This will add to their enthusiasm, and carry over to their parents and community.

Homeowners will be alerted of any bacterial contamination and encouraged to retest at a certified lab.

In addition to learning about groundwater, your students will gain valuable hands-on experience in water testing as well as a sense of community service.

If you would like your class to be part of this program in the future, please contact Us for details.
