The Carbon County Groundwater Guardians started a pilot program last year at the Jim Thorpe Area High School to test the drinking water of students for bacterial contamination. This program has now been expanded to all the high schools in Carbon County. The Guardians provide the necessary equipment.

The testing hopefully will be done this week at all the schools.

If you would like more information, contact LeRoy Skinner at Jim Thorpe Area High School or John McKay at Panther Valley High School.
