U.S. Sen. Arlen Specter will have a couple public meetings today in our area.

First, there is the town hall meeeting at Morgan Auditorium at Penn State Schuylkill at 1:45 p.m. today.  Specter is expected to make some remarks, then answer questions from thr crowd.

Then, at 4 p.m., Specter will meet with community members and officials at Best Western Genetti Inn and Suites in Hazle Township regarding the polycythemia vera cluster in the region.
