LTA sponsors fundraiser for Clarkston girl on Saturday
The Interested Ladies of Lambda Theta Alpha Latin Sorority at Lewis-Clark State College is sponsoring a fashion show and a dance as a fundraiser this Saturday for Scarlett Crutchfield, a 12-year-old girl from Clarkston who was recently diagnosed with a rare pre-leukemia condition called polycythemia vera…..
Crutchfield’s condition causes blood components to overproduce and thicken the blood. This causes Crutchfield to experience feelings of fatigue, constant pain, and tiredness. She is the fourth generation of her family to have the condition and she has had to adapt her life away from school and not participating in track.
For further information on the fashion show or dance, or to make a contribution, contact Magdalena Vega at either mjvega@lcwarriormail.com or at (208) 794-2553.
